Channel 2 jumps into 411 'Costly Connector' controversy

-Investigative report examines routes, keys in on a 24-second savings in travel time that would cost '$100 million' more if the current is chosen, according to the broadcast.

-David Doss of Rome, the former DOT board member, comes out on TV in support of an alternate route if it is cheaper and gets pavement on the ground after a 30-year wait.

 

1,000 new Floyd households now have emergency weather radios.

-A grant used by Floyd Emergency Management purchased the devices which were given away free -- in under seven hours combined.
