Etowah River e.coli update for July 14

Please find our e.coli bacteria graph for the Etowah River attached. The geometric mean of our three testing sites this week was 52.8 cfu/100m, below the US EPA safe standard of 126 cfu/100ml. Thus, barring any heavy rains during the weekend that would increase stormwater runoff to the river and bacteria levels, the bacteria forecast for the weekend looks favorable. The results for the individual testing sites were as follows:
