Dining
-22 Arby's operated by former Rome franchisee closed; new deal won't reopen local restaurants. The Mobile Press-Register reports "as many as 400 employees in Alabama, Mississippi, Florida and Georgia didn't get a paycheck last Friday, days after U.S. Bankruptcy Judge William Shulman took management of 22 stores away from indebted owners PRP Inc. of Robertsdale and awarded control to an Arby's franchisee based in Fort Walton Beach, Fla." The new owner, the Mobile paper says, does not want the idled Rome or Rockmart locations. Details
-Mrs. Winners closes in Cartersville:  The shop at 47 Morningside Drive is empty, according to reports from WBHF 1450 AM. It had been in Cartersville since 1993. The Rome locations remain open.
-Broad Street Station surrenders licenses: Broad Street Station at 425 Broad St. is indeed gone after four months. The owners surrendered their pouring and entertainment licenses to city hall on Monday. It opened in early July after first scouting the McCrobie's location. Peach Palace previously was at the 425 Broad.
