New player, familiar name highlight Alcohol Control Commission agenda:

>Jazz bar: Downtown Rome apparently is getting a jazz bar and lounge in the 200 block of Broad Street. The agenda for Monday evening's Alcohol Control Commission shows an application for a beer/wine pouring license for Studio 712 Jazz Bar and Lounge, 211C Broad St. Terrence W. Hight is the applicant.

>Market update? Also on the agenda is a beer and wine package and pouring license for the long-delayed Rome City Market, 238 Broad St. The applicant is James M. Day. The market has been in some sort of discussion and development for nearly two years. For more on the ACC agenda, click ACC
