Fire and rain at State Mutual Stadium
The rain part: Nearly three quarters of an inch of rain fell at the airport on Thursday, enough to force a two-hour delay to the start of the night's Braves-Greenville Drive game. The fire? A fired-up Braves' manager, Randy Ingle, gets tossed by Mario Seneca after disputing a call. The Drive won, 3-0. The Braves and Drive play again tonight at 7. As for the forecast: 20 percent chance of showers with a high of 94--and heat index of 102 degrees is possible.
