>Rock 105.9/98.3 FM targeting Rome audience:
![]()
Downtown Rome diners on Wednesday probably saw the banner outside Jefferson's referencing Rock 105.9 FM/98.3 FM. It is among the first incursions into the market from the new rock station based in Anniston. The station doesn't pull punches when it comes to its market: "Everything that rocks ... nothing that doesn't." The precise target: "a dominant male audience." The simulcast delivers much of East Alabama and spills into a decent slice of Northwest Georgia. We'll have more on the station on Friday. For now, click Rock
Planners will have a 411/Callier site to consider today after all: The Seven Hills Town Center project remains on hold and isn't going before Rome/Floyd planners but the DaySpring church site is up for review today just across from Wal-Mart Supercenter. A change from suburban residential to community commercial is sought to help market the property. Meeting: 2:30 p.m. For more, click Planning
