>WSRM frequency change closer? Look for "WRGA FM" to shift from 95.3 FM to 93.5 FM soon. The station, which simulcasts WRGA 1470 AM's programming, has sought the shift. A recent frequency change by an Ellijay broadcaster helps clear the way for the move.

>WBA making a Rome rebound: Reports today say the renamed WBA Exposure will have six teams this season, including Cartersville Baseline Warriors , and add a Rome franchise in 2009. The name again: Gladiators> Details

>'Indiana Jones' sequel gets big treatment here, too: At the Carmike 12 in Cartersville, 16 showings of the fourth adventure of  Dr. Indiana Jones are set for Thursday. At the Movies at Mount Berry Square, you can see it at 12:01 a.m. Thursday (as in late Wednesday night) plus six times on Thursday.

>Shorter goes global this summer: Several teams of Shorter College students, Shorter Abroadfaculty and staff are crossing the globe this summer.  The college has created a Web page with links to the traveling Hawks as they blog about what they're seeing and doing. One study abroad team, earning 12 credit hours, just cleared England and is headed for Russia. Their courses: "Field Experience in Study Abroad," "Directed Study in Global Awareness," "Theatre Appreciation" and "Business and Culture." Dr. Robert Wallace, Shorter¹s director of international programs and assistant professor of religion, just wrapped a trip to Jordan.
