Independence Day Weekend Deluge almost over

-'Just' a half inch of rain expected today. It would boost our total since 12:01 a.m. Wednesday to above 5 inches.
-Flood watching continues until 8 tonight for NW Georgia.
-Oostanaula: Nearing 19 feet and rising; should crest about a foot below flood stage (25 feet).

Weather forecast:
-Sunday: 70% rain chance, high of 81, low of 70.
-Monday: 70% rain chance, high of 87, low of 70.

Today's agenda:
July 7: Doubleheader: Rome Braves vs. Asheville at State Mutual Stadium at 5 p.m. Postgame fireworks.
