Several hotel sites suddenly in play:

-At 10:30 this morning, the Rome City Commission's Redevelopment Committee is expected to get a final look at the West Third Street Master Plan as the city and the developers of a Courtyard by Marriott prepare to sign the final paperwork allowing the project to get under way.

-The meeting comes just as JDH Developers of Kennesaw announces plans to revitalize parts of the former Holiday Inn Skytop.

 

April 17: Annual Business Outlook Conference to hear from Dr. Donald Sabbarese, director of Kennesaw State's Econometric Center.

 

Several Calhoun sites up for auction May 13: Property on McDaniel Station Road, U.S. 41 and Belmont Drive among the sites up for bid, according to Flipper McDaniel & Associates.
