No problems so far on local roads after wet day, chilly night
-The National Weather Service was urging motorists to be extra alert this morning for potential "black ice" on roads and bridges. As of 5:30 a.m., we've heard of no reports in our area or metro Atlanta. The overnight low -- 33 degrees at 5:15 a.m. -- stayed five degrees warmer than expected. Forecasters were concerned about icy patches developing after .80 of an inch of rain fell on Wednesday.
-Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 51. Low of 30.
-Friday: Sunny, with a high near 54, low around 31.
-Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 53, low around 29.
