  • COVID crisis: 8 more deaths in NW Georgia posted Thursday. New state record in positive cases: 8,499. Another 325 new cases in NW Georgia in last 24 hours. Now 211 virus patients in Floyd, Redmond, Cartersville hospitals.
  • Vax Report: State expands priority vaccinations to those 65 and older. Public Health begins offering vaccinations for frontline workers, first responders; will expand to 65 and older as supply allows.
