  • The vote: Floyd Board of Elections hopes to start recount by noon Tuesday with sessions on Wednesday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1-2. Secretary of State says recount of 5 million Georgia votes can begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday. 
  • A record 88 patients at Floyd, Redmond on Monday. 66 new cases reported Monday. Free test sites closed Thanksgiving-Nov. 29.
  • COVID on campus: Berry sees cases jump before Thanksgiving break; 48 students, 9 others. Floyd, Rome schools ended last week with 1,179 students, staff in quarantine.
