Rome Middle School Sixth Grade football teams wins the GMSAA championship with 34-8 victory over Cambridge. RMS Seventh Grade team finished runner-up after losing 13-6 to East Paulding.

-Georgia Bulldogs: Georgia stomps Massachusetts, 66-27.
-Georgia Tech: Yellow Jackets beat Virginia, 30-27, in OT.
