Wanda Whitten, 2013 Senior Inforum Chairman, stated, "The Senior Promotions Council is happy to offer the Senior Inforum to Rome, Floyd County and surrounding areas. It provides a great opportunity for senior adults to gather, have fun, and learn about the great resources available to them.

The Senior Inforum was created twenty-five years ago as part of the Senior Promotions Council's mission to help the community attain easy access to senior resources. The council originally hosted the Senior Inforum at the Charles C. Parker Center with a little over 100 participants, but outgrew the space and moved to Rome Civic Center.  After the event grew to over 350 participants, it found its home at the Rome Forum where over 500 seniors participate in the annual event.

The Senior Promotions Council coordinates many programs, events and services throughout the year including informative luncheons, The Senior Resource Directory, and the Senior Inforum.

For questions on the Senior Inforum, contact the Charles C. Parker Center at 706-234-0383 or visit the center located on Kingston Road.
