GDOL will help Aerotek recruit forklift operators in Rome next week

The Georgia Department of Labor's (GDOL) Rome Career Center will help a
staffing company, Aerotek, recruit 10 forklift operators next week to work
at a manufacturing facility in Polk County. The recruitment will be held
Monday, April 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the career center, located at 462
Riverside Parkway in Rome.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must have at
least three years of experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing
facility or a distribution center. Experience with a squeeze clamp/RF scan
gun is preferred.
Jobs are available for two shifts: 3-11 p.m. or 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Salaries
begin at $10.50 an hour.
The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test.
