POSSIBLE TORNADO INJURES FIVE IN FLOYD

-Three were hurt in Silver Creek; two in Cave Spring, according to Floyd County Emergency Management.

-Silver Creek  Mini Market destroyed; 12 homes damaged by strong winds.

-Power outages continue this morning across Floyd County, Northwest Georgia.

-Schools closed in Polk; reporting two hours late in Chattooga County, Trion City. No issues with Rome/Floyd schools.

-Our view: Did we have ample warning from the weather service? Two tornado warnings were up on the opposite side of the state line before sweeping into Northwest Georgia.
