Rome Little Theatre to offer special Friday night meal deals during 'A Streetcar Named Desire'

(Media Release)) As part of a special New Orleans-themed celebration to coincide with Rome Little Theatre's production of "A Streetcar Named Desire," Cajun dinner packages will be offered both Fridays of the show's run, Oct. 12 and 19. Tickets are available for sale that include a choice of red beans and rice or gumbo from the WOW CafÈ food truck (Oct. 12) or chips and po'boy from the Crawdaddy's food truck (Oct 19), a drink from the RLT concessions (including beer and wine), and Papa Joe's coffee and Kaleido-Sno beignets during intermission.

Tickets for the show and the special dinner are available by calling the Rome Little Theatre box office at 706.295.7171 or visiting the box office at 530 Broad St. Meal package prices are $15 for RLT members and $17 for non-members. Adult ticket prices for the show are $12, student and senior tickets are $10, and group tickets are $10.

"A Streetcar Named Desire," one of American playwright Tennessee Williams' most well-known and memorable plays, is sponsored by Biz 2 Biz Commerce and will run the weekends of Oct. 12 and 19, with Friday and Saturday performances at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.

During performances, RLT will also offer patrons the opportunity to enter a raffle for a trip to New Orleans that includes a three day/two-night stay at the Ambassador Hotel and dinner for two at Galatoire's.
