Isakson Representative to Hold Open Office Day in Floyd County

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., today announced that Amy Turner, his field representative for Floyd County, will hold an open office day for constituents on Oct. 16, 2012, in Rome, Ga.

Turner will be available on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the conference room of the Coosa Valley Credit Union, 1504 Dean Avenue, Rome, Ga. 30161.

Isakson encourages constituents to come talk with his representative about any issues concerning the federal government, federal legislation or federal agencies, such as Veterans Affairs, the IRS, Medicare, or the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.

"This open office day will help ensure that the views, concerns and local efforts of all Georgians are reflected in the operation of our office," said Isakson.

As a representative for Isakson, Turner is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities in her region and acting as representative for Isakson when he is unable to personally attend events in the area.
