Rome Floyd County Library Children's Department events for June 26-28

 
Media release: The Reptile Wranglers will be in the Coosa Room of the Rome Floyd County Library on Tuesday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. The Wranglers, Ken and
Zack, provide fun and exciting experiences with an awesome variety of reptiles and giant bugs. Critters that are being brought for the summer reading program children are an American alligator, a Nelson's albino  milksnake, an Argentine tegu, a giant pine toad, a red-eared pond slider turtle, and a giant Chaca tarantula. The program is free and may be counted as reading time on the "Dream Big-Read" timesheet.
 
The movie Happy Feet 2 will be shown in the Coosa Room of the Rome Floyd County Library on Wednesday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. The movie
is free and popcorn and drinks are available for fifty cents each. The movie is shown as part of the Summer Reading Program "Dream Big – Read". 
 
Barbara Reeves, a popular storyteller from Cave Spring, will be sharing tales on Thursday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m. in the Coosa Room of the Rome Floyd County Library. Fairy tales, folk tales, funny tales and personal stories are only a part of Ms. Barbara's adventurous stories. The program is for children aged five and up and is free of charge
