Northwest Georgia Credit Union Wins National Marketing Award

(Media Release) Northwest Georgia Credit Union has announced that it recently received a national marketing award from Card Services for Credit Unions (CSCU) at the CSCU Annual Meeting in St. Petersburg, Fla.  Northwest Georgia Credit Union was the 2nd place winner for overall credit card marketing campaign among credit unions nationwide with less than $60 million in assets.

Seventy-three credit unions received awards at the CSCU Annual Meeting. Northwest Georgia Credit Union was one of only four credit unions in Georgia to be selected for an award.

These awards recognize and reward the CSCU member credit unions that developed the most innovative and resourceful marketing campaigns of the year.  Stephanie Graves, director of marketing for Northwest Georgia Credit Union, commented on the credit union's winning campaign. "Building on our current brand campaign of Un-banking, Unbelievable, the VISA campaign, 'Unraveled,' used the analogy of unraveling yarn to help members see that they don't have to be unraveled by credit card debt.  Through this imagery we showed that our VISA card is Un-strings attached. The playful feeling of the campaign captured the spirit of our credit union, using imagery consistent with our brand."
