PHS, AHS FBLA members compete at state

Media release: Floyd County students from Pepperell High School and Armuchee High School placed in the top 10 in the state at the 2012 Georgia FBLA State leadership Conference held recently in Atlanta.  Pepperell's Brooke McCoy finished 4th in the highly competitive Job Interview performance event, Kaitlyn Childers finished 7th in Business Math and Pepperell's team of Leighann Davenport, Zane Johnston and Ashtyn Johnston finished 10th in Business Presentation. Armuchee High School's Kristen Shiflett placed 7th in Personal Finance. 

In other FBLA honors, Pepperell's Grafton Flock was recognized for his service as the 2011-2012 Region 8 Secretary and David Mowery was named Region 8 Adviser of the Year.

The state chapter of Georgia FBLA has over 27,500 members – the largest single state chapter ever in the history of FBLA which makes these students' accomplishments even more impressive.
