Snow showers possible overnight, Saturday; snow, sleet on Valentine's Day. Retail updates; Alex's Froyo due around April 1

 
Snow showers overnight. White Valentine's Day?
-Continuing weather updates today, all weekend on Hometown.
-Rain followed by snow showers are possible overnight with more expected after 1 p.m. Saturday as well. Also due: overnight lows in the mid-30s -- which is about what Saturday's high will be as well. Add gusts of 30 mph and we're looking at "significant wind chill" on Saturday as well. Overnight lows Saturday and Sunday will drop to the low 20s and, after a brief bit of warming, snow is in the forecast Monday night and Valentine's Day. Weather statement
-Friday: High of 55, low of 35; 30% chance of rain, snow showers.

Retail watch:
-1. Alex's Froyo frozen yogurt expects to open around April 1 at Armuchee Village; Milano's is back, too.
-2. For sale signs up around State Mutual Stadium, replacing those for 'The Boulevard.'
-3. Near full house at River Walk? Strip center just about booked (Shane's Rib Shack, Cartridge World, etc.)
