Claws for Paws seafod and beef sale is under way

Media release: With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it's the perfect time for Rome and Floyd County residents to take advantage of the annual "Claws for Paws" Seafood and Beef Sale. Fresh shrimp, crab cakes and homemade gumbo all offer a delicious alternative to turkey sandwiches over the long holiday weekend.

This year's sale is the Fourth Annual fundraiser for "Claws for Paws," a local non-profit organization that raises money to help provide much needed medical attention for dogs and cats as well as support animal rescue efforts in Rome and Floyd County.

Items included in the Sale are:

Large Shrimp, Jumbo Scallops & Red Grouper

Dry-Aged, All-Natural Beef Tenderloin

Spicy Chicken Sausage Links

Crab Cakes

Homemade Gumbo

Trout Dip & Remoulade Sauce

A full list of all items and prices can be found at www.clawsforpaws.org.

Everything is of the highest quality. The seafood comes from the Atlantic Coast. The beef tenderloin is from cattle that are naturally-raised in North Carolina with no antibiotics or hormones. The crab cakes, gumbo, trout dip and remoulade sauce are all freshly made in the kitchens of Harvest Moon. Orders can be placed online at www.clawsforpaws.org or by email at clawsforpaws@gmail.com

The deadline for orders is Monday, November 14.

Orders can be picked up on Saturday, November 19th from 11am – 2pm at State Mutual Insurance (NOT the stadium), located at 1352 Redmond Circle. Just drive around to the back.

There's something for everyone to enjoy and all of the proceeds go to support animals-in-need in Rome and Floyd County…a great incentive to buy lots! So be sure to place your order by November 14th and mark your calendar for November 19th…pick-up day.
