September jobs snapshot: It gets worse.
-900 fewer jobs in Floyd vs. September 2010 -- but up from August.
-First-time jobless claims rise by 12.1% in Floyd; 37.9% in Gordon.
-State's jobless rate rises to 10.3% in September.
-Help is on the way (Lowe's, Emerson sports projects) but not soon enough.
