There will be a children's play area with water slides and inflatables. New this year is a flight simulator that will allow participants to experience what it is like to pilot a plane.
The live music will begin at 6:30 pm to include Jerry on the Moon followed by KneckDown. The Floyd EMS Honor Guard will do a presentation of colors followed by a pipe solo performed by Joe Dunaway and the national anthem sung by Samantha Robinson. The fireworks show will begin after the national anthem. Mr. Synester, the Battle of the Bands winner, will present a show after the fireworks.
The public is encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for lawn seating.
