Record-breaking heat Sunday; stormy, windy Monday:

-Windy advisory, 11 a.m.-10 p.m., for Northwest Georgia. Gusts to 25 mph.

-Today: High of 85, gusts to 30 mph. Slight chance of showers between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., then a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m.
-Tonight: Low of 54. 100 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m., then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 a.m.. Some of the storms could be severe. Rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible. Gusts to 20 mph.
