-Flood watch: The weather service has placed Northwest Georgia under a flood watch until midday Thursday. The Oostanaula in Calhoun is at action state or 15.7 feet at 6:15 this morning.

-Today: 100% chance of showers, possibly a thunderstorm before 1 p.m., then showers and thunderstorms. Gusts to 20 mph. High of 60. Rainfall: 1 to 2 inches.

-Tonight: 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms likely before 1 a.m., then a slight chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 45. Gust to 15 mph. Rainfall: quarter to a half inch.
