Severe weather heading our way: The Weather Channel says severe weather including possible tornadoes, high winds and large hail will be moving through the Southeast U.S.

Today's forecast:

Thursday: 20% rain chance, high of 76; low of 58, 100% rain chance.

-Friday: 30% rain chance, high of 65; low of 35. 

-The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) might be interested in purchasing Synovus Financial based in Columbus, Ga, according to report in today's Atlanta Biz Chronicle. Synovus is parent company of Rome's Citizens First Bank and Calhoun's GB & T.
