Blood Assurance's Donor U blood drive Tuesday to benefit local schools

-From 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Blood Assurance will be staging a community wide blood drive at The Forum to help bolster blood products at area hospitals. Blood Assurance is the only agency supplying blood to hospitals in our area. By donating blood, donors will be able to "vote" for a local school. Gift cards to Staples will be awarded to the top three schools in both the public and private categories ($500, $250 and $100). For more: please see the website.

-Feb. 4-5: Join Junior Service League of Rome for a fabulous Forties Follies: Come see your favorite JSL member sing and swing dance to benefit the Open Door Home.
