South Rome Redevelopment meeting could get interesting Tuesday: The redevelopment agency and redevelopment corporation board meets at 4:30 p.m. at 119 S. Broad St. Expect to hear about the suit filed in curcuit court over the plans and progress of Etowah Terrace. The massive, 103-page complaint is brought by Save Etowah Terrace, Randolph and Wanda Michael, and the Mount Aventine Community Association. It targets the redevelopment agencies, the city of Rome and Mercy Housing. At issue: whether the City Commission's rezoning of the five acres for the senior housing project was legal.
