The fundraiser to support CRBI's efforts to protect our region's streams, rivers and lakes will include a Barbecue Battle competition featuring Rome favorites Double D, Henry's Smoke Shack, Ole Tymer, and Uncle John's as well as other restaurants from across Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama; beer and wine from Eagle Rock Distributing and Old Havana Cigar Company; live music from My Friend's Band; silent and live auctions, boat rides and games.

What's on tap this weekend/By Bryan Mullins/MullinsMania.com
>Saturday night brings an outing that has been super fun in previous years. I imagine this year's CRBI River Revelry (details below) will be just as exciting if not more. It may be hard to beat last year's intense storm that rolled in on the festivities but I know that there will be barbecue, beer, boat rides and music by My Friend's Band. Although My Friend's Band is new to the scene, the faces are not. It consists of three previous members of Red Eye Jedi, plus two more experienced local musicians who you will recognize from previous bands. To get a sneak peak you can catch them in the Schroeder's Courtyard on Friday night.
>If you still have any energy left after Saturday's River Revelry, swing by Harvest Moon and check out The Jazz Merchants. I've never seen them but I gave it a listen online and was impressed. I'm looking forward to hearing the acoustic guitar and vocal twosome perform classics such as "You Go to My Head" and "Solitude".
>There is plenty to do so check out MullinsMania.com for more.
