Who's changing hands? We're thinking Arby's: The popular fast food establishments in as well as one in Rockmart and one in Cedartown could be changing hands. We're chasing reports of a sale--and a check of Loopnet.com shows both Turner McCall sites on the market (2885 and 805) for a combined price of around $4 million.

Primary 2008/Two weeks to primary and endorsements lining up: The key race in Floyd County this primary is clerk of court, a Democrats-only contest between John Harkins and Barbara Penson. With two weeks to go, the candidates are cementing their support. On Harkins' Web site: Former Floyd schools  Superintendent Kelly Henson as well as some of the name partners from Brinson, Askew, Berry as well as former Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Norman Fletcher and Scott Akemon, chairman of the local Democratic Party. In Penson's corner, the Floyd County Association of Educators, Tica Berry

and Democrats for Victory.
