Periods of heavy rain possible today; 50% rain chance

-Flash flood warning for Bartow, Gordon counties until 10:30 a.m.

Hottest weekend yet of the summer on the way

-Saturday: 50% chance of rain, high of 88, low of 70.

-Sunday: 60% chance of rain, high of 87, low of 70.

-Monday: 60% rain chance, high of 85, low of 70.

 

It was a close game but Lexington once again found a way to win, 3-2 over Rome Braves.

-Calendar: The Braves and Lakewood play tonight at 7 at State Mutual Stadium.
