Weekend washout: Up to 4.5 inches of rain expected

-Flood watch in effect through Sunday night

-Biggest concern: We're still saturated from three to four inches of rain that fell last weekend. The Coosa River at Plant Hammond flood warning is back; the river is at 571.8 feet., flood stage is 570 feet. The Oostanaula in Rome was at 18.15 feet, flood stage is 25 feet.

-Sunday: 100% rain chance, high of 64, low of 50.

-Monday: 50% rain chance, high of 67, low of 50.

 

Weather cancellations/changes

-CRBI Waterfest Canoe Race on the Oostanaula River has been canceled because of high water levels. All other Waterfest activities are a go.

-Downtown Cartersville cancels Saturday's Rockingbirds' concert because of inclement weather expected here. The Shrine Club's car show also is canceled
