"Our mission is to provide accessible high quality technical education and workforce development opportunities that lead to careers in technology, business, health, and public services. We are grateful to The Grainger Foundation for its generosity and support of GNTC."
This donation was recommended by Jay Still, Branch Manager of W.W. Grainger, Inc.'s, Dalton location. Grainger has been a part of the Dalton business community for more than 20 years as the leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair, and operating products. "We are proud to recommend the programs offered by both Georgia Northwestern Technical College and Roman Open Charities," said Still. "We understand the need for technical education opportunities for our community, as well as the current and future demand for a skilled workforce."
The Grainger Foundation, an independent, private foundation based in Lake Forest, Illinois, was established in 1949 by William W. Grainger, founder of W.W. Grainger, Inc.
GNTC's Foundation was established to encourage private contributions in order to build and maintain outstanding academic programs at the college.
