"A relaxing beach getaway is the number one vacation Georgia travelers look forward to this summer."

The majority of travelers (64%) plan to spend $1,500 or less on their summer vacation, a little less than last year. The top three vacation destinations for Georgia travelers this year are beach getaways (55%), city destinations (50%), and trips to theme parks/attractions (25%).
