Most recently, Trammell served as the Chief Executive Officer of Cherokee Medical Center in Centre, Alabama.  Prior to his role as CEO, he held a number of increasingly responsible positions with Community Health Systems including Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama and Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Lake Granbury Medical Center in Hood County, Texas.  Trammell also previously worked with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) at North Florida Regional Medical Center as Associate Administrator from 2005 to 2007.  Prior to that, he was with Eastern Health System in Birmingham from 2002 to 2005.

"I've known Patrick for many years" said John Quinlivan, FACHE, and Redmond Chief Executive Officer.  "I consider him a good friend and am excited by this opportunity to work with him.  I have every confidence he'll do an outstanding job."

Trammell, his wife Stephanie, and their three daughters are in the process of relocating to Rome.  "Redmond has a strong reputation for providing quality healthcare services" said Trammell.  "I am honored to join this team of dedicated healthcare professionals.  My family and I look forward to moving to Rome and becoming a part of this great community."
