16 fourth, fifth graders at Saint Mary's Catholic School qualify for Duke TIP

Media release: Sixteen Saint Mary's School  4th and 5th grade students have qualified for the Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP).  Eligibility is based on achieving a 95th percentile or higher on standardized tests scores, indicating outstanding intellectual ability in that area.  Qualifying students who wish to participate in the program are offered exciting, stimulating and challenging opportunities through online lessons, publications, contests, the Duke TIP Book Club and an optional above-level testing experience, the EXPLORE® test.

 

This year's 4th and 5th grade qualifying students are

-Jacob Bruce, Jillian Giles, Lucas Grigat, Kaylee MooYoung, Michael Swiger, and Eli VanMeter in 4th grade

-Gloria Murray, Chandler Robinson, JC Tan, Abigail Vaughn, Lauren Wilkes, Gary Jones, Alex Kirby, Lily Huynh, Ryan Acree, and John Lucas Todd in 5th grade.
