(Media Release) Rome Little Theatre will continue to accept applications for directors and producers for the 2013-2014 season through Jan. 15. Applicants may complete an application at romelittletheatre.com and either print and mail it to the theater (P.O. Box 1063, Rome, 30162) or submit the application by e-mail (rltoffice@bellsouth.net). Applications are also available at the RLT office, located in the Historic DeSoto Theatre at 530 Broad Street in downtown Rome. The deadline to submit an application is Jan. 15.
Directors and producers should have some theater or theater-related directing or producing experience. Prospective directors must have directed a show or served as an assistant director (for RLT or a similar organization) in order to be eligible to direct a production at RLT.
Shows for the 2013-2014 season include "The Three Little Pigs/The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf" (Aug. 23 to Sept. 1, 2013), "Frankenstein" (Oct. 25 to Nov. 3, 2013), "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" (Dec. 6 to 15, 2013), "A Few Good Men" (Jan. 31 to Feb. 9, 2014), "Grease" (March 21 to 30, 2014), and "The Dixie Swim Club" (May 30 to June 8, 2014).
Rome Little Theatre is a non-profit organization that relies on local membership and volunteer efforts for its support.
