-Flood warnings end for Coosa, Oostanaula:
-For nearly a week, forecasters were watching the Oostanaula rise above flood stage in Calhoun, Resaca and Tifton. On Monday, the weather service canceled the flood warnings up and down the river as well as the one for the Coosa River.
-Today: Gov. Nathan Deal will present a proclamation designating the week of Feb. 4-8 as Severe Weather Awareness Week
-Weather service update on Jan.14-18 rain and winter weather: This update looks mostly at the rainfall, including more than five inches in Rome, and a much as an inch of rain in Cedartown on Jan. 17.
