Harbin's Tony E. Warren Clinic Cancer Center plans open house for wreath fund-raiser

Media release: The Harbin Tony E. Warren Clinic Cancer Center will be sponsoring its Christmas Wreath Holiday Fundraiser to benefit the non-profit organization, Cancer Navigators, again this year.  The Cancer Center has recruited many of the best and brightest creative minds in our community to design Christmas Masterpieces.

The wreaths will be on display in the Harbin Clinic Tony E. Warren Cancer Center, located at 255 West Fifth Street, from now through November 21st.  The public is invited to come view these wonderful wreaths, participate in the silent auction, and cast their vote for the People's Choice Award. The Cancer Center is hosting a Christmas Wreath Open House this Saturday, November 10th, in conjunction with the Early Bird Cancer Walk from 8 a.m. until 12 noon.00 p.m. on November 21st.

All silent auction winners will be contacted by phone and may pick up their wreaths between November 21st and December 5th.  Winners not only receive a beautiful wreath, but also the joy of helping others.  The People's Choice Award will be announced on November 26th.  The winner will be determined by counting the number of votes submitted for each wreath.  You can vote for a wreath with a $1.00 donation per vote.   Also available for immediate purchase in the main lobby of the Cancer Center are wreaths, swags, and other Christmas decorations made by local talents.

"We have 60 of the most amazing and unique Christmas wreaths on display this year, surpassing our expectations," says Janice Hopkins, Harbin Clinic Cancer Center Director. "Each wreath will be identified with the name of the person, club or business that created and donated it in order to highlight their generous contribution.  It's amazing how the community has embraced this festive fundraising project and partnered with the Physicians and Staff at the Cancer Center in our efforts to support the organizations that provide needed services and resource to our patients and families. We're expecting this to be a wonderful fundraiser."
