May 12: Up the Creek Without a Pedal ride across Northwest Georgia

Media release: The Coosa Valley Cycling Association's "Up the Creek Without a Pedal
XXII" bicycle ride takes place at Armuchee High School on May 12 at 8
a.m. Cyclists will have the options of a fully supported 28, 42, 60, or
101 mile ride in beautiful Northwest Georgia. Rest stops will provide
salty and sweet refreshments and cooling drinks approximately every 15
miles along the routes. Routes are low traffic and consist of mostly
rolling hills, although the 101 mile option will go over Little Sand
Mountain.

Amenities include showers, post-ride lunch choice of baked ziti or
Chick-fil-A sandwich, and a Dri-balance T-shirt while supplies last.
Proceeds benefit Armuchee High School Touchdown Club, Boy Scout Troop
no. 56, and a local charity.

Entries before May 6th are $35. Entries after May 6th-12th are $40.
