Shorter welcomes Brandi Berger as new registrar

Rome, Ga. – Shorter University welcomes Brandi Berger as its new registrar.
As registrar, Berger is responsible for maintaining student records and
serving as an academic liaison between faculty and staff. She will also
handle student and class scheduling and degree audits, evaluate transfer
credit, determine athletic eligibility and prepare the university's annual
catalog. She began her duties March 1.
"I am delighted to join the Shorter family and look forward to serving the
students, staff, and community as registrar," Berger said.
A native of Florida, Berger comes to Shorter from Reinhardt University,
where she worked in various capacities in the registrar's office. Prior to
that, Berger worked in the financial aid office at Heald College in
California.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational leadership with a
minor in business from Reinhardt.
