The Armuchee High School Baseball Boosters will host the Silver Dollar Showdown II at the Thornton Recreation Center in North Floyd Park on Saturday, March 24th from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. This is the 2nd annual pancake breakfast that pits the Varsity squad against the Junior Varsity to see who can score the most runs based on ticket sales with the losing Coach getting a pie in the face. Tickets, ranging from $5.00 for a double (2 pancakes and 2 sausages) to $10 for all you can eat, are available through the Varsity and Junior Varsity players. All plates include pancakes, sausage, your choice of milk, orange juice, coffee, or water and are dine in or take out. Tickets will also be sold at the door the morning of the event and walkups are welcome.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Armuchee High School Baseball Program.
