Rome landmark The Partridge seeks alcohol pouring permits. Local restaurant scores. Not as hot this weekend; more rain.

The Partridge seeks beer, wine, liquor pouring license:

-Rome's Alcohol Control Commission on Monday will hear a bid from the owners of The Partridge to bring alcohol sales to the downtown landmark. Andre Rodriquez, who bought the restaurant at 330 Broad St. earlier this year, had said alcohol sales would be among the changes he hoped to make. The ACC meets at 5 p.m. Monday to hear that request; also on the agenda: review of recent alcohol sales violations at 10 area businesses and more discussion about Rome's 50/50 alcohol-to--food sales restrictions. Details: ACC
