-Peach Palace closes; will Broad Street Station open there instead? The Peach Palace at 425 Broad St. has closed after a two-year run. The owners turned in their business and alcohol licenses Tuesday, says Rome City Clerk Joe Smith. But this may not be the end for the nightspot. Smith says his office has received reports that a recently approved application for a beer/wine pouring license for Rusty Canada and Broad Street Station at 325 Broad St. (most recently McCrobie's) might be transferred to the Peach Palace location.
